Good morning! Have you ever felt unqualified before? Whether it was a role in your family, workplace, church, sports league or anything else? I often feel like God allows me to be in certain positions that don’t compliment my strengths, so that I rely on Him and His limitless ability and wisdom!

Anytime the Lord provides opportunity to be used by Him – my answer is immediately yes. I may not always feel qualified, but He always provides what I need to complete His work!

I can totally relate to Moses’s story as God was calling him to lead the Israelites out of slavery. In Exodus 3, God appears to Moses in a burning bush and says that He is sending him to Pharaoh to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.

Here’s where I begin to relate:

Exodus 3:11 – Moses says, Who am I? But God answers him in verse 12 – I will be with you!

Exodus 4:10 – Moses makes another excuse – I am slow of speech and tongue. But again in verse 12 God says – I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.

Exodus 6:30 – Moses again argues, since I speak with faltering lips, why would Pharaoh listen to me?

Can you relate? I wrote some notes in my Bible next to these verses…

You may feel insufficient, BUT God will give you what you need to accomplish His tasks – Don’t be like Moses!

Make yourself willing and available. I can relate with Moses’s insecurity, BUT God has already reassured him. Trust God to do what He says!

I am thankful for God’s patience with me always! The truth in God’s Word has caused me to grow in my obedience, trust, and surrender when He provides opportunities to shine bright for Him! Let’s take every opportunity that He gives us today to accomplish the tasks He sets before us!

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:8

Heavenly Father, help us to trust You when we feel inadequate. Help us to search Your Word to find our true identity in You! Help us to be willing and available at all times! Thank you for your patience with us and your constant encouragement! Thank you for being our Jehovah Jireh – providing everything we need! We love you! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
