Good morning! Have you ever worked on a project that you were extremely proud of? Maybe you restored a classic car, remodeled your house, created the most outrageous man cave or she shed, wrote a song, published a book, or whatever it is you like to do!
How did you feel when you were finished? Accomplished, proud, happy, encouraged, relieved, and probably excited to show it off to someone who would appreciate it the most.
This morning be encouraged that God feels the same way about you!
“For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:8-10
WOW! Another translation says, “we are God’s masterpiece!” God made us just the way we are! Only God, our Creator, can tell us who He created us to be! Only He can give us purpose!
We cannot take credit for what God has done! All the glory and honor belongs to Him!
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of life this morning! Help us to look to you to find purpose in this world, to live our lives as a good example of your workmanship! Shape us and mold us today from the inside out! When people ask us what makes us different, let us show them your signature on our lives – our testimony of your love, power, redemption, and salvation! Thank you Jesus! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
