Good morning! I hope everyone is having a great extended weekend! I love spending time with my family! The people that God has given me to do life with make it so much better! The encouragement, the support, the guidance, the love, and many more things make it easier to go through the difficult seasons and more fulfilling when celebrating the high points of life! I am so thankful that the Holy Spirit has been made available to us to teach us and guide us in all truth!

God’s desire is for us to grow and does not expect us to do it on our own! John 14:17 tells us that the Holy Spirit is with us and lives in us!

This morning, allow the Holy Spirit to bring God’s Word to life in your heart and mind. This will bring understanding that will lead to transformation! The Holy Spirit helps us to love others as Christ has loved us! The truth is, we are not capable of loving others like Jesus without the help of the Holy Spirit! The people we interact with today need to experience God’s love! Make the most of every moment!

Romans 12:9-21 tells us about what it looks like to love others!

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit who teaches us and guides us to live for You! Help us to take the truth in Your Word that He reveals to us and put it into action. We want this world to see you in our lives! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
