Good morning! The last few weeks have been overwhelming at times. There has been unknowns, a full schedule, and responsibilities pulling at me from every direction. But I am reminded day in and day out that the most important thing I can do is spend time with God and seek the things that are important to Him!
“But seek His Kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.”
Luke 12:31
This verse is when Jesus was telling His disciples to not worry about what they would eat or what they would wear. God doesn’t want us to be consumed with the worries of this life, He wants us to be solely focused on Him and what is important to Him – saving the lost and accomplishing His purpose in our lives!
This is not something that He calls us to do by ourselves – He is right there with us to lead us and provide what we need to do His will!
God promises to supply all of our needs! This doesn’t mean that all of our wants and desires will come true, but the more our hearts are aligned with His, His desires will becomes our desires!
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2
God encourages us to ask Him for what we need TODAY! Don’t worry about tomorrow, just focus on today and live in each moment!
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that everything I need today will come from You. You made the heavens and the earth; You are more than capable of handling any situation I’m dealing with, so I give it to You completely. I look to You to help me, sustain me, and give me Your peace. Remind me of Your hope and power today. Thank You in advance for taking care of my needs! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
