Good morning! And a Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife! I always tell her that she is perfect, and honestly, I think she is! The way she loves Jesus and influences the people around her to do the same is so inspiring! She has been such a big part in helping me become the man I am today! She has always selflessly loved me, supported me, cared for me, and put up with me LOL! Thank you for making my life so GREAT and for inspiring me to be the person who God has created me to be!
Even now, I’m in the middle of a very full week and she continues to see the things I am walking through and encourages me to look to Jesus! He has everything I need!
This week has felt like one continuous, LONG day! I am a person that needs personal downtime to process, think, and mentally prepare for what’s ahead. This week has not allowed me to do that, BUT… I am thankful for the promise of God in Isaiah 40:28-31!
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
BUT
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
There’s another scripture where the Lord encouraged the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:10, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
God wants us to rely on Him! Think about this, it should take some pressure off of us – we don’t have to do it all on our own; home, school, work, community, or wherever you find yourself growing weary or tired – wait on the Lord!
Heavenly Father, help us to run to You today! Thank You for being constant, faithful, and more than enough! Thank You for providing everything we need! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
