Good morning! It is so important that we live each day with integrity! Psalm 101 has a lot of truths that can be applied TODAY! Read the whole chapter on your own but here are some of the highlights that jumped out at me:
“I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Lord, I will sing praise.”
Psalm 101:1
Let us sing praise to the Lord for His great love! He is just – right and fair – in all He does!
“I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it.”
Psalm 101:3
We are not of this world – our citizenship is in heaven! Let us not live like the world or take part in anything that does not align with God’s Word, but be lead by the Holy Spirit! Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control!
“My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.”
Psalm 101:6
Let us surround ourselves with people who love Jesus! Friends who will challenge us to grow in our relationship with God, friends who will hold us accountable to live godly lives, friends that will speak truth at all times!
I challenge us to take a moment at some point today to examine our lives. Choose one area that you need to grow in and ask God for His help in applying the truth in His Word to our lives!
Heavenly Father, thank you for your love! Please help us today to be INTENTIONAL about growing! Transform our lives as we apply your truth today! Let it all be for Your glory – a testimony about how you can take brokenness and make it beautiful! Help us to live to honor you today! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
