Good morning! I love getting together with other believers to encourage and challenge each other to grow! Something special happens when the body of Christ comes together in one place with one purpose.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Hebrews 10:23-25
We know that God is faithful and it is often us who lacks faith in all circumstances. That’s why we need our family and friends to come around us, encourage us, challenge us, and keep us accountable to growing in our relationship with God and our belief of what God is able to accomplish!
It’s so easy for us to fall off track if we are not staying connected to the vine. With the busyness of life and pressures of responsibilities we experience this constant pulling of always having to be somewhere, fix something, or do something. Today, let’s take a moment to pause and focus on our Creator!
Today I want to put out a challenge if you choose to accept it. Contact another individual and encourage them. Whether it’s a scripture verse, an encouraging word of something special you see in them, or just letting them know you are thinking about them, send a text of encouragement today!
We need to constantly be spurring one another on toward love and good deeds!
Heavenly Father, thank you today for always showing up! We know that when we meet together, You will be there with us! Use us today to encourage someone else as we have been encouraged by You! Thank you for Your Word which is a constant reminder of your love for us! Help us to apply it to our lives! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
