Good morning! This morning after yesterday’s post, I’m continuing to think about how important we are to each other!

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”

    Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

When we walk through this life together, we are better, stronger, and safer together. I’m sure everyone has heard the saying, “two heads are better than one.” When we struggle to figure something out, it is nice to have another person there to bounce ideas off of rather than trying to do it on your own. We all have different walks of life and have experienced various things that could help each other.

If I have questions about taxes, I go to an accountant; if I have questions about my car, I go to a mechanic; If I have questions about growing vegetables, I go to a gardener; you get the idea. But think about how many different types of occupations are represented in the body of Christ; we have a lot to offer each other practically.

But it doesn’t stop there, God has also given each of us spiritual gifts to be used to support one another in growing in our relationship with God!

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

    1 Peter 4:8-11

Heavenly Father, thank You for the people reading this post right now. Thank You for the practical talents and spiritual gifts You have given to each one to support one another and cause each other to grow. Help us recognize our need for one another and appreciate how much more we can grow when we are together rather than going alone. Help us to work together to spread Your love with all around us! In Jesus Name – AMEN!
